Marlborough – Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School's (AVRTHS) Brenna Boucher lets a pitch fly in a light shower during the team's Central Mass Division 3 final against Quaboag Regional Middle High School (QRMHS) at Worcester Academy's New Balance Field in Worcester June 11.
Top-seeded AVRTHS hosted 11th-seeded Quaboag. QRMHS jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first inning and never looked back as AVRTHS couldn’t put any runs on the scoreboard until the last inning, losing 9-1.
