Pets Gone Healthy celebrates sixth birthday

Pets Gone Healthy, the area's premier health food store for pets, is celebrating its sixth birthday this month. Pets Gone Healthy opened in 2005 with the mission of providing products that enrich the quality of life for cats and dogs based on rational nutrition rather than popularity. trUe salon and color café aid tornado victims

trUe Salon and color café, with locations at 290 Turnpike Rd. (Speedway Plaza) in Westborough and 1291 Worcester Rd. (Route 9W) in Framingham, is collecting such items as blankets, tarps, batteries, food (non-perishables, etc.), diapers, wipes, kids toys and used items, including irons, ironing boards, toasters and coffer makers, for victims of the recent tornadoes here in Massachusetts.

Food pantries receive the bulk of their donations during the holiday season; however, hunger is a year-round issue. Northboro Chiropractic Center, as part of a Summer Healthy Food Drive to help the Northborough Food Pantry supplement its supplies, is accepting donations during June. Drop off contributions at their office, located at 6 Maple St. in Northborough, and earn tickets for a chance to win a $100 Trader Joe's gift card. Judy A. Hermans dancers perform at Walt Disney World

This past April, 25 dancers from Judy A. Hermans School of Dance performed at Walt Disney World in Orlando. The performance, held April 17, drew a large crowd. The dancers performed several dances on the Waterstage at Downtown Disney. This was the dance school's fifth time auditioning and performing for Disney World. Judy A. Illanes, Howard join Women's Health of Central Massachusetts

This July, Diego Illanes, MD and Allison Howard, BS will be joining Women's Health of Central Massachusetts (WHCMA), which has offices in Worcester, Marlborough and Webster. Dr. Illanes, an urogynecologist and pelvic floor surgeon, will be working in WHCMA's three offices.
