Westborough – Carole (Brown) Burnham, 62, of Armstrong Drive, died Friday June 17, 2011, in St. Vincent Hospital.

She leaves her husband of 29 years, Mark Burnham; a son, Adam Burnham of Framingham; a daughter, Hilary Burnham of Westborough; a brother, Marshall Brown and his wife Nancy of Framingham; her father-in-law, Walter Burnham of North Grafton; a niece, Cheryl, wife of David Gingras of Commerce Township, Michigan; a nephew, Howard Brown and his wife Lisa of Franklin, Michigan; and cousins and friends.

Born in Worcester, a daughter of Leo L. and Rose (Linsky) Brown, she had lived in Westborough for 27 years. She graduated South High School in Worcester and from Chandler School for Women in Boston.

Mrs. Burnham worked as a secretary in the Westborough school system for 15 years. She was a member of Congregation B'sai Shalom in Westborough and the Massachusetts Teachers Association, and was an active volunteer in the Westborough Food Pantry for many years.

The family wishes to thank everyone for her wonderful care and support in the critical care unit at UMass Memorial Healthcare on Memorial Campus.

Funeral services will be held Monday June 20, at 10 a.m., in Perlman Funeral Home, 1026 Main St., Worcester. Burial will be in Holy Society Cemetery in Worcester. Memorial observance will be held at the Burnham residence, 12 Armstrong Dr., Westborough, through Monday evening June 20; from 12 to 8 p.m. Tuesday June 21; and from 12 to 8 p.m. Wednesday June 22.
