Sherr named to LLS Massachusetts Board of TrusteesWestborough – The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Massachusetts Chapter has announced that Edward L. Sherr of Westborough has been elected to the Board of Trustees. He is currently a Senior Vice President and Registered Investment Advisor at Carl P. Sherr & Co., LLC.

Sherr graduated from Babson College with a B.S. in Business and Investments. He is very active within the community, serving roles as President of the Worcester Jewish Community Center and Master of his Masonic Lodge, and was recently elected Treasurer of Congregation B'sai Shalom.

He is a committee member of several finance, development and endowment committees in the area, such as the Jewish Federation of Central Massachusetts and the Worcester State University Foundation Board. Additionally, he is a board member of the Worcester Center for Crafts and Worcester Academy's Board of Visitors. He is a governing board member of the Jewish Federation of Central Massachusetts and their 2010 recipient of the Samuel Seder Young Leadership Award. In 2004, he received the “40 Under Forty” award from the Worcester Business Journal.
