Marlborough – Eighty-seven years, ago a lovely, gentle lady was born in Great Yarmouth, England. Lilian White, nee Barron, died peacefully Sunday July 10, 2011, surrounded by her family.
She is sorely missed by Kenneth, her husband of 55 years; their four daughters and sons-in-law, Kay and Andres Romero, Gail and Eric Nelson, Jayne and David Matthews, and Donna and Jeff Callow; and nine grandchildren, Lisa Romero, Laura Romero, Elizabeth Callow, Spencer Matthews, Tyler Nelson, Rebecca Callow, Rose Matthews, Sylvia Romero and Sarah Nelson.
Visiting hours will be held Saturday July 16, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m., at the Slattery Funeral Home, Inc., 40 Pleasant St., Marlborough, followed by a memorial service at the funeral home at 3:30 p.m.
