Shrewsbury – Lauren Rudsit, 7, readies to serve the ball during the June 28 session of Beach Volleyball, one of many courses of the Summer Enrichment Program offered by Shrewsbury Public Schools at Floral Street Elementary School. Instructed by Christopher D’Aniello, a teacher at Beal Early Childhood Center and Floral Street School, the four-day course taught students entering kindergarten through third grade the fundamentals of volleyball in a fun environment that encouraged teamwork and participation. The program continues with various courses through the week through Thursday, July 28.
