Marlborough – After a 16-year tenure, which by most accounts was successful and productive, Marlborough Veterans” Services Manager Gary Brown will not be reappointed to another term this fall. Although many city officials have stated their support for Brown and praised him for his dedication and hard work on behalf of the city's veterans, the decision to reappoint lies with Mayor Nancy Stevens. The mayor has not yet publicly disclosed why she made this decision, but Brown himself feels that it may be partly due to a personality clash between the two.
