Westborough resident awarded $5,000 scholarship

April Gammal, a resident of Westborough and senior accounting major at Bentley University, has been awarded a $5,000 scholarship at the third annual CFO of the Year awards lunch, held July 19. The scholarship was awarded to Gammal by Grant Thornton LLP of Boston and the Boston Business Journal for exceeding the scholarship's criteria: a college student studying accounting or finance with a GPA of 3.0 or above. The CFO Awards honor the leading professionals of the financial industry.
