Fitchburg – Jason T. Allain, a very brave and loved 3-year-old child, died Jason T. Allain, 3unexpectedly Tuesday Aug. 9, 2011, at Leominster Hospital. He leaves his loving parents, Michael Allain and Kristina Rodgers of Fitchburg.

Born in Gardner on March 20, 2008, Jason was baptized at Saint Michael's Church in Hudson. He had a great love of water and enjoyed swimming and playing water games with family and friends, especially looking forward to swimming at his grandparents home in Hudson. Jason's life was short, but he brought so much joy to his family and all their close friends.

Besides his parents, Jason leaves his paternal grandmother, Clara (Bernard) Allain of Gardner, wife of the late John Allain; his maternal grandparents, Richard and Ilona (Loiselle) Rodgers of Hudson; his great-grandparents, Ida Loiselle of Hudson and Roberta Stefanik and her husband Ted of Venice Beach, Fla.; his three aunts, Linda Martel and her husband Richard of Fitchburg, Kathy Dupuis of Leominster, Donna Adams and her husband Jack of Orange; and his three uncles, Matthew Rodgers and his wife Amanda of Worcester, Michael Rodgers and his wife Adriane of Hudson, and Richard Allain and his wife Jenny of Baldwinville. He is also survived by his many loving cousins.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday Aug. 13, at 9 a.m., in Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning St., Hudson. Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetery of Hudson. Calling hours will be held Friday Aug. 12, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home Inc., 50 Central Street, Hudson.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jason may be made to the Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, Pediatric Unit, 125 Nashua St., Boston, MA 02114.
