Southborough – A resident of Edgewood Road in Southborough spotted a visitor to her garden Aug. 10:
“I just returned home from work when I noticed a pretty little moth resting on one of the black-eyed susans in my garden. Curious about it, I took a photo and did some searching on the Internet, eventually finding out it was an orange-spotted pyrausta moth (Pyrausta orphisalis). Unfortunately, though it is a pretty moth, it is also considered a pest insect.”
