Southborough – Geraldine (Lockwood) Kurzontkowski, 74, a longtime Southborough resident, died at her home Saturday Aug. 13, 2011, with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of Frederick Kurzontkowski for the past 54 years.

Mrs. Kurzontkowski was a 1955 graduate of Holliston High School and a secretary for the former Bay State Abrasives in Westborough for over 25 years. She was a volunteer for the Southborough public school for many years and enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband, she leaves her daughters, Linda Zawadzki of Westborough and Diane Kurzontkowski and her husband Michael Jensen of Bainbridge Island, Wash.; a son-in-law Cory Zawadzki of Chicago; a brother Dick Lockwood of Georgia; two sisters, Jackie Winch of Georgia and Judy Aquila of California; nine grandchildren, Lance, Jessica, Troy, Grant, Julia, and Grace Zawadzki; Taylor, Colby and Ginger Jensen; and three cousins, Joyce Rose, Stephen and Ronald Nutbrown. She was predeceased by her brother Charles “Buzzy” Lockwood.

Visiting hours are Monday Aug. 15, from 4 to 7 p.m., at the Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main St., Southborough. A funeral service will be held Tuesday Aug.16, at 10 a.m., at the Chapel of the Cross, 160 Flanders Rd., Westborough. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Holliston.
