Shrewsbury – Christina Zarobe (center) joins her children Gabriel Hurdle, 8, and his sister, Gracie, 6, as they create models of climbers hiking up the Andes Mountains during the Aug. 4 session of One World Craft Program at the Shrewsbury Public Library Children's Room. After children's librarian Linda Dashnaw read from the book “Love and Roast Chicken: A Trickster Tale from the Andes Mountains,” children entering grades one through four created various crafts relating to the topic including a silver llama, an Inka mask and maps of South America. The program ran throughout the summer and focused on a different continent each week.
