Southborough – Elizabeth “Lizzie” (Rossi) Baldelli, 92, a longtime resident of the Fayville section of Southborough, died Sunday Aug. 14, 2011, at her daughter's home in Ashland after a period of declining health. She was the beloved wife of the late Albert “Cricket” Baldelli, who passed away in 2002.

Born in Southborough, she was the 12th of 13 children of the late Angelina (Malchiodi) and Pietro Rossi. She was a graduate of the former Peter's High School in Southborough and was a dedicated homemaker. She was the family caregiver and was devoted to her family and friends. She enjoyed gardening and cooking. She was a lifelong member of St. Anne Church of Southborough.

Mrs. Baldelli is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Thomas and her husband Ray of Ashland, who she lived with her last few years; a sister, Florence Kittredge of Southborough; a grandson, Erick Thomas and his wife Karina of Boston; a special niece, Lorraine (Delarda) Laundry of Framingham; Mary Kittredge of Holliston, both who helped with her care; and her best friend of many years, Caroline Pessini of Fayville.

Visiting hours will be held Thursday Aug. 18, from 9 to 10:30 a.m., at the Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main St., Southborough. A mass of Christian burial will follow the visiting hours at 11 a.m. at St. Anne Church, 20 Boston Rd., Southborough, with burial in the Rural Cemetery.
