Northborough/Webster – Ronald A. Luippold Sr., 72, died Sunday Aug. Ronald A. Luippold Sr., 7215, 2011, at Beaumont of Northbridge after a brief illness.

He leaves behind his wife of seven years, Anne Luippold; six sons, Ronald A. Luippold II of Carver, Robert A. Luippold and his wife AnaLisa of Sacramento, Calif., Adam J. Luippold of Clinton, Jason A. Redfield of Dorchester, Finley J.T. Luippold of Webster, and Matthew T. Goodbrand of London, England; three daughters, Elizabeth A. Nixson and her husband Andrew of Yorkshire, England, Georgianna D. Luippold of Sacramento, Calif., and Therese A. Blake and her husband Patrick of Douglas; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Arthur J. Luippold of Milford and Joseph M. Luippold of Fremont, Calif.; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his two sisters.

Born in Milford, son of the late Arthur I. and Anna M. (Giggie) Luippold, he was a former police officer for the Town of Northborough in the 1960s.

Mr. Luippold worked as a motor coach driver for Ritchie Bus Lines for 40 years. He was an avid collector of model replica cars and trucks and enjoyed watching old movies, especially westerns.

Calling hours will be held Friday Aug. 19, from 5 to 8 p.m., in Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main St., Northborough. The funeral service will be held Saturday Aug. 20, at 10 a.m., in St. Bernadette's Church, 266 Main St., Northborough. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery ofDouglas.
