Shrewsbury – The Artist Guild of Shrewsbury will hold its 1st Annual Art Festival Saturday Aug. 20, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Dean Park, Main Street in Shrewsbury.
Robert Duffy will lead painting demonstrations at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., while John Gaston will give watercolor painting demonstrations all day. Local artists, student artists, and guild members will exhibit their work and offer it for sale. The event also includes face painting, finger painting and cupcake decorating for the kids. Original art by Mark Waitkus and others will be raffled.
