Southborough – The Southborough Library will host the Southborough Business Network as it kicks off its Speaker Series, the INSIDE STORY, Tuesday Aug. 23, at 7 p.m., with an energizing talk by local business leader Kevin Russell, General Manager, Wegmans. Area business people are invited to this free, informative and lively evening of learning. Refreshments will be served.
Wegmans, a 116-year-old business based in Rochester, N.Y., is known as an innovative grocer with 77 stores, 44,000 employees and a unique business mode, and has been one of the top “Places to Work” on several lists for many years. Come and learn what this organization knows – the INSIDE STORY – at the Business Speaker Series kick-off event.
The Southborough Business Network, a group of committed volunteers, meets at the library, 25 Main St., to develop ways for the library and the business community to work together. The group has made a speaker series their priority to reach out to the local community.
