Westborough – John H. Indge, 82, passed away Monday Aug. 15, 2011 in Westborough. He was the husband of Nancy L. (Horne) Indge.
Born in Worcester, he was the son of the late Herbert and Constance Ethel (Everett) Indge. He was educated in Westborough Schools and was a 1946 graduate of Westborough High School. He also graduated from Worcester Junior College.
Mr. Indge was the Vice President and General Manager at Peter Wolters of America in Plainville for 17 years. Previously, he was employed for 27 years at the Norton Company in Worcester. He was a life member of the Unitarian Universalist Church in Westborough and enjoyed fixing and building many things at home and at the church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Constance E. Page and Cynthia L. Crosby, both of Salem, N.H.; one brother, David E. Indge of Westborough; two grandchildren, Jason E. Crosby and Susan P. Mullis; one great-granddaughter, Danni Mullis; and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Joyce Ricker, Alfred Indge and Daisy White.
A memorial service will be held Saturday Sept. 24, at 11 a.m., in the Unitarian Universalist Church, 64 West Main St., Westborough. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery will be private. There are no calling hours. The Rand-Harper-Pickering Westborough Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
