Shrewsbury – Worcester County Sheriff Lew Evangelidis hosted the annual Sheriff's Senior Picnic at SAC Park in Shrewsbury Aug. 14. The picnic, sponsored by the Reserve Deputy Sheriff's Association and other local businesses, featured barbecue fare, bingo games, raffles, door prizes and music. Evangelidis said the event is an opportunity to give back to senior citizens.
