Marlborough – An auction to benefit the preservation of the historic First United Methodist Church of Marlborough will be held Friday Sept. 9, from 6 to 9 p.m., at the Moose Family Center, 67 Fitchburg St. in Marlborough.
The family-friendly event includes catered dinner, home-made desserts and musical entertainment by DJ Dick Bushey. This year's dinner consists of appetizer platters, rolls with butter, tossed salad, roasted potatoes, green beans almondine, glazed carrots, and choice of chicken piccata or roasted beef sirloin. A silent auction will be followed by the ever-popular live auction/trivia contest. Door charge for the event is $10 per person (payment by cash or check only).
