Ashland – Saturday, Sept. 10, the Ashland Garden Club will present “Autumn in Ashland” from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Highlights of the event will include tours of homeowner Lois Tougas’ fall gardens; birding expert Tom Warren on birds and fall migration; arborist Matt Shields on pruning trees and shrubs; planting demonstration of fall container gardens; botanical artist Carol Govan creating art inspired by nature; environmental studies teacher Chris Scott on composting; and raffle prizes. A buffet luncheon is included and prepared by Ashland Garden Club members.
