Region – The Arthritis Foundation is looking for volunteers to help plan and coordinate the Central Mass. Arthritis Walk to be held at the Bancroft School in Worcester Sunday, Sept. 11. Help is needed with planning activities and running the event. The walk will be open to all ages and abilities, and features a one- or three-mile route. There will also be children's activities, entertainment and a post-walk party.
Margaret Farmer of the Arthritis Foundation hopes volunteers will come forward.
“It's a great opportunity to join your neighbors in the fight against arthritis, our nation's number one cause of disability, while participating in a fun community event,” Farmer said.
