Roger Williams, Syracuse, other schools announce spring 2011 dean's listRegion – The following area residents are among those to be named to the Roger Williams University dean's list for the spring 2011 semester. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the dean's list that semester, provided that they have not received any of the following grades: F, I, NP or NS.

Andrew R. Briggs, a resident of Northborough; Meghan E. Allen, Victoria A. Benoit, Christine E. Guarino, Mark R. Iovieno and Benjamin D. Zimmermann, all residents of Shrewsbury; Elizabeth M. Guest, Julie M. Guest and Briana J. Mason, residents of Westborough; and Sara R. Spellman, a resident of Southborough.

In addition, Elizabeth A. Ferraro, a resident of Westborough, and an international business major, has earned the honor of placement on the dean's list at the College of New Jersey (TCNJ) for the 2011 spring semester. To achieve this honor, a student must carry 12 or more credits that semester and have a 3.5 grade point average or above.

Washington College in Chestertown, Md., is welcoming the following student, who has entered as a freshman to join the College's Class of 2015: Alexandra Ambrose, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Ambrose from Shrewsbury.

Also, Syracuse University has announced the spring 2011 dean's list recipients for all of its schools and colleges, including Deanna O”Keefe and Victoria Welch, both of Northborough; Nirmalkrishna Devarajan and Jin Park of Shrewsbury; Nicholas Mastrogiacomo, Jessica Nissenbaum, Maya Rappaport and Jack Wentzell, all of Westborough; Evan Fonseca and Janine Savage of Marlborough; and Katherine Berkland and Janine Doherty of Southborough.
