Bertrand H. Roy, 93Marlborough-Bertrand H. Roy, 93, died Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2011 at his home in the company of his family. He was the husband of Lois (Battles) Roy.

Born in Boston, the son of the late Gustave and Josephine (Audet) Roy, he lived in Arlington for many years before moving to Marlborough eight years ago. He was a WWII Navy Veteran before working in the trucking industry with his father for A&P Supermarkets for over 30 years. He loved square, ballroom, and round dancing, and was a member of the Red Hat Squares squaredancers.

Along with his wife of 65 years, Lois, he is survived by a daughter, Kathleen Andreoli and her husband Richard of Marlborough, two sons; John Roy and his wife Alice of Nahant and Michael Roy and his wife Yvonne of Brewster, a brother, Robert Roy of MD, a sister Pauline Wheeler and her husband Fred of TN, five grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

His funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, Sept. 12, at 10:30 a.m., in St. Luke the Evangelist Church, 70 West Main St., Westborough. Burial will follow in St. Luke Cemetery, Westborough. Calling hours at the Britton-Summers Funeral Home, 4 Church Street, Westborough, are Sunday, Sept. 11, from 2 to 5 p.m.
