Southborough – Summer Nights, an annual Southborough festival, will now take place on Sept. 30. The event was originally scheduled for Aug. 28, but was canceled due to Hurricane Irene.
The event's coordinator, Doreen Ferguson, announced on Thursday that the event would be rescheduled.
Summer Nights festivities will include live music, a dunk tank, rock wall, horse rides and a variety of other events, according to a press release sent out by the organizers.
The event is staffed by volunteers and funded by local businesses who donate to the annual festival.
Robin Martin is a co-chair of the group.
“I am always amazed by the generous support the sponsors give us each year regardless of our economic climate,” Martin said.
