Westborough – The Friends of the Westborough Senior Center invite the community to participate in a 50/50 auction, to be held Saturday, Sept. 24, at 6 p.m. Donations to the auction are also welcome. Phil Kittredge will be the auctioneer for the fun-packed evening at the Westborough Senior Center, 4 Rogers Rd.
All donors can choose to receive 50 percent of the sale price or donate it to
the Friends of the Westborough Senior Center. The nonprofit organization will
keep 50 percent of all items sold. Donations may be dropped off at the
Westborough Senior Center at 3 p.m.
Also, the Friends of the Westborough Senior Center will hold their annual fall membership meeting Tuesday, Sept. 27, at 1 p.m., at the Westborough Senior Center.
Membership is open to all for $5 yearly.
The Friends of the Westborough Senior Center is a nonprofit organization that renders a program of service and to raise funds for items not provided by the town or Commonwealth. The organization helps residents by providing programs, social services and aid, and membershp is open to all-regardless of age.
