Denver, Col. – Harvey P. Bowser, Jr., 62, formerly from Marlborough, passed away Monday, Aug. 29, 2011 at the Denver VA Hospital in Denver, Colorado, following a short illness.
Born June 9, 1949 to Harvey Bowser and Mary (LaBossiere) Bowser in Hudson, he attended schools in Marlborough before serving two terms in the United States Army during Vietnam.
He is survived by his father, Harvey (Carole) Bowser; three sisters, Sheila (Jim) Beckner of Missouri, Rosemary Caron of Marlborough and Deby Bowser of Hudson; and two brothers, William (Phyllis) Bowser of Marlborough and Dennis Bowser of Hudson. He is also survived by four nieces and six nephews, and several grandnieces and grandnephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Bowser; a sister, Donna McKenzie; a brother, David Bowser, and his faithful companion, his dog, Max.
Mr. Bowser is interred at Fort Logan Cemetery of Denver, Colorado.
