Hopkinton Drug presents autism lecture Sept. 29

Hopkinton – “Autism: Effective new approaches for treating children” will be presented by Hopkinton Drug Thursday, Sept. 29, at 7 p.m., at Hopkinton Senior Center.

During the free lecture, Carol Englender, MD will cover how nutritional and biochemical treatments can bring significant improvements to the health of children with autism spectrum disorder and improve the efficacy of behavioral interventions, speech therapy and social development programs.

Dr. Englender has been treating children and adults with autism for over 20 years. She practices integrative medicine utilizing diet and nutrition, biochemical evaluation and Defeat Autism Now biomedical approaches. A graduate of Northwestern University Medical School, she is a family physician practicing in Framingham.
