Hudson – Jeanne I. Watkins has joined Murphy Insurance Agency as the Human Resources Manager. Watkins has 20-plus years of experience and has a Professional in Human Resources designation from the HR Certification Institute. She is responsible for developing human resources strategies and solutions for the agency including recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management and regulatory compliance.
Watkins received her Bachelors degree from Eastern Connecticut State University and holds a Human Resources Management Certification from Assumption College. She is an active member of her community, volunteering for the Dudley-Charlton regional School Council, parent/teacher organization and the Booster Club. Watkins has also volunteered in the past for the Auburn school district on similar committees and served as a board member for the Here We Grow preschool.
Originally from Auburn, Watkins currently resides in Charlton with her husband, daughter and son. She is currently an active member of Northeast Human Resources Association (NEHRA), Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Central Massachusetts Employer's Association (CMEA) and the Associated Industries of Massachusetts (AIM).
