Northborough – “From the House of Fear to the House of Love: Henri Nouwen's Road to Peace” will be offered Wednesday, Sept. 21, from 7 to 9 p.m., at St. Rose of Lima Parish in Northborough.
Observing the 15th Anniversary of Henri J. M. Nouwen's death (d. Sept. 21, 1996), St. Rose of Lima Parish will explore a timely Nouwen topic. Henri Nouwen was a priest, professor, popular spiritual guide and author of over 40 books. Using insights from Nouwen and his own experience as a retreat director, facilitator Ernie Rivard will explore how people can find some comfort and light in a time where there are so many fears culturally and personally. Rivard is Pastoral Assistant at St. Rose and a Friend of the Henri Nouwen Society.
