Northborough – Northborough Recreation has released a list of upcoming programs for children. The popular Fun Daze programs provide fun and safe care for your children for the upcoming school vacation days.
Kids will need to bring a lunch, two snacks and water unless otherwise noted. Transportation will be provided by First Student Bus Company, equipped with seat belts. Pre-registration is required and non-residents are welcome. These programs are for kids in kindergarten through grade 5 and run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Drop off and pick up is at the Town Hall Gym & Rec Center, 63 Main St., Northborough.
Thursday, Sept. 29, kids will spend the morning playing gym games, sports and making arts and craft before heading to LazerCraze in North Andover after lunch. Kids will participate in lasertag missions and arcade play and those under 10 years old will have access to the Thrillzone Playmaze. Cost is $45 per child.
Friday, Nov. 11, at Coco Key Water Resort in Fitchburg, kids will be transported to a tropical island-like setting, where every day is a bright, sunny 84 degree day. Explore the 55,000-square-foot indoor water park, featuring a selection of signature attractions for all ages, under the supervision of Northborough Recreation staff and Coco Key resort lifeguards. A pizza lunch will be provided. Cost is $65 per child.
And, Monday, Nov. 28, kids will spend part of the morning playing gym games, sports and making arts and crafts. Around 10:30 a.m., the group will head over to AMF Bowling in Auburn, where kids will bowl several strings and enjoy a pizza lunch. Cost is $45 per child.
