David H. Malhoit, 92Westborough – David H. Malhoit, 92, died Thursday, Sept. 15, 2011 at the Westborough Healthcare Center. He was the husband of Germaine B. (Martin) Malhoit.

Born in Leicester, the son of the late Henry and Christina (Castell) Malhoit, he served with the United States Army Air Corps during World War II.

Mr. Malhoit was employed as a machine operator for Draper Corporation in Hopedale and for Denison Manufacturing in Framingham for 29 years prior to his retirement. He was a communicant of St. Luke the Evangelist Church and had been a resident of Westborough for many years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Albert Malhoit of Florida; a stepson, Martin Savignano of Connecticut, and a stepdaughter, Elaine Savignano of Hudson; two sisters, Helen Cameron of California and Lucy Giles of Florida; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Jeanette Viere.

Funeral services will be private and there will be no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of the Britton-Summers Funeral Home of Westborough.
