Charles L. Randall, 90Worcester – Charles L. Randall, 90, formerly of Southgate at Shrewsbury, died Satruday, Sept. 17, 2011 at the Jewish Healthcare Center in Worcester. His wife of 57 years, Ruth E. (Mandel) Randall, died in 2002.

He leaves a son, Dr. Glenn Randall and his wife Lauren of Westborough; a daughter, Ellen Rosene of Rapid City, S.D.; and two grandchildren, David and Julia Randall.

Born in Newark, N.J., a son of Max and Rose (Segal) Rosenstock, he was a graduate of Rutgers University and had lived in Chicago for 30 years, before moving to Shrewsbury 10 years ago. He was an Army Master Sergeant during World War II in Asia.

Mr. Randall began his career at Paragon Oil Co. in Philadelphia. He later became the assistant to the Executive Vice President of Texaco and then became the manager of the National Heavy Oil Sales of Texaco, retiring 28 years ago. He was very active in the arts and he particularly loved opera.

The family will welcome visitors Tuesday, Sept., 20, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the residence of Glenn and Lauren Randall, 30 Nourse St., Westborough. Services will be held at 7:45 p.m. at the residence.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association , 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701 or to the charity of the donor's choice. Perlman Funeral Home of Worcester is in charge of funeral arrangements.
