Framingham – The New England Wild Flower Society will hold a special celebration of Grandparents at Garden in the Woods, 180 Hemenway Rd., from noon to 4 p.m.
Enjoy a fun afternoon with your grandchildren focusing on insects and plants on Grandparents Day. Explore the Garden with a special scavenger hunt. Try some pollinator games and learn the “bee” dance. Look for and talk to costumed creatures in the Garden. Make a “buggy” craft to take home. The bloom board in the entry garden shows the many flowers and fruit to look for along the Curtis Path. Bring a picnic and enjoy it at a picnic table on the patio. Beverages and snacks are sold in the Garden Shop.
