The blood drive is open to the public, and residents from surrounding towns are invited to participate. The Red Cross is hoping to collect at least 35 life-saving pints of blood during this drive.
If you are in good health, weigh 110 pounds or more, and have not given blood in the past 56 days, you may try to donate. The American Red Cross now requires a positive ID before donating. You must be at least 17 years old (16 years old with signed parental consent form.
