Shrewsbury History Week Sept. 25 through 30Shrewsbury – The Shrewsbury Historical Society is announcing the 3rd Annual Shrewsbury History Week, running Sunday, Sept. 25 through Friday, Sept. 30, on SPAC TV Channel 28 in recognition of the Spirit of Shrewsbury festival.

Stay tuned as every day this week for a different history program, which include “Historic New England Apples” by Christie Higginbottom Sunday, Sept. 25 at 10 a.m. and Wednesday, Sept. 28 at 11 a.m.; “Stagecoach and Post Horns” by Grace Yaglou Monday, Sept. 26 at 9 a.m. and Thursday, Sept. 29 at noon; “Noteworthy Traditions of the Brass Band” by Erik Larson and Kristine Gustafson Tuesday, Sept. 27 at 1:30 p.m. and Wednesday, Sept. 28 at 6 p.m.; “Henry Knox Cannon Trail” by John Horrigan Tuesday, Sept. 27 at 6 p.m., and Wednesday, Sept. 28 at 9:30 p.m.; “Paul Revere's Midnight Ride: Dispelling the Myths” by Patrick Leehey Tuesday, Sept. 27 at 10 p.m. and Thursday, Sept. 29 at 9 a.m.; and “A Walk Through History at Shrewsbury's Mountain View Cemetery September 2011” Wednesday, Sept. 28 at 2:30 p.m. and Friday, Sept. 30 at 12:30 p.m. programs can also be found in the historical society's online video library at http://www.shrewsbury-ma.gov/smc.
