American Red Cross holds Marlborough blood drive Oct. 1Marlborough – An American Red Cross blood drive will be held Saturday, Oct. 1, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation Center, 400 Bolton St. (Route 85). The blood drive is open to the public and residents from all surrounding communities. The Red Cross is hoping to collect at least 30 life-saving pints of blood during the drive.

If you are in good health, weigh 110 pounds or more, and have not given blood in the past 56 days you may try to donate. The American Red Cross now requires a positive ID before donating. You must be at least 17 years of age (16 years of age with a signed parental consent form).
