Carver – Chester F. Niedzwiecki, 90, formerly of Shrewsbury, passed away Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011 at Wingate Nursing Facility in Kingston.
He was born in Worcester, son of the late Frank and Eleanor (Bogdanski) Niedzwiecki. In 1945, he married Martha (Michalak) Niedzwiecki. They had been married for 66 years. He and his wife moved to Carver in 2005.
Nr. Niedzwiecki worked at National Standard Worcester Wire Division in Auburn for many years and for BOSE Corp. in Hopkinton until his retirement in 1985.
He leaves his wife, Martha; his daughter, Ann Frazier, and his son-in-law, Doug Frazier, of Carver; his sister, Sophie Hamper of Worcester, and brothers-in-law, Charles Michalak of Shrewsbury and Al Lucia of Worcester; and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Alice Koski and Lucy Lucia.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours Wednesday, Sept. 28, from 4 to 7 p.m., at Britton-Shrewsbury Funeral Home, 648 Main St., Shrewsbury. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, Sept. 29, at 11 a.m., at St. Anne's Church, 130 Boston Turnpike, Shrewsbury. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery of Shrewsbury.
