Hudson – Members of the Hudson High School Drama Society will put on the classic musical “You'se a Good Man, Charlie Brown” Oct. 13 and 14 at 7 p.m. and Oct. 16 at 2 p.m. Bring your entire family and enter the world of Sally (Carly Usherwood), Lucy (Laura Girard), Schroeder (Jack Colaianni), Linus (Edward Andrews) Snoopy (Linette Davis), and, of course, Charlie Brown (Vinny Bonina).
“You'se a Good Man, Charlie Brown (Revised)” opened on Broadway in 1999 and won two Tony Awards and three Drama Desk Awards. The audience will witness a day in Charlie Brown's life made up of little moments that are loved by Peanuts fans worldwide. From Valentine's Day to the baseball season, from wild optimism to utter despair, all mixed in with the lives of his friends (both human and non-human) and strung together from his bright uncertain morning to hopeful starlit evening.
Performances will be held in the Intel Mini Theatre at Hudson High School, 69 Brigham St. Admission is a $7 donation to the Hudson High School Drama Society.
