Westborough – Have you ever wanted to try reading books on an e-reader but didn's know which one to try first, or whether you would even like reading on a device instead of paper? Try them out at the library!

The Westborough Public Library is now loaning Sony and Nook e-reader devices to library patrons. Thanks to a generous donation from the Friends of the Westborough Public Library and an award from Sony, the library now has four e-readers available for checkout.

Westborough residents who are 18 or older with a library card in good standing can check out e-readers for a week at a time. You can request an e-reader by calling the Reference Desk. The cards come pre-loaded with a selection of books, and new books will be added periodically. There's a limit of one device at a time per household.

For more information about the library's new e-readers, please contact the Reference Desk at 508-366-3050, or email the library at [email protected].
