Linda L. TrippOxford – Linda “Lynn” L. (Cameron) Tripp, died Sunday, Oct. 2, 2011.

She leaves behind her husband of 29 years, Jonathan P. Tripp; one son, Andrew Tripp and his wife, Jill, of Oxford; one granddaughter, Abbigail Tripp of Oxford; and one sister, Susan. She was predeceased by her infant daughter, Stacy Tripp.

Raised in Somerville, the daughter of the late Angus M. and Juanita N. (Wills) Cambron, she graduated from Somerville High School in 1970.

Mrs. Tripp was an EMT for both the town of Northborough and Oxford Emergency Services for 20 years. She worked for Conversent Communications as an office manager in Worcester for six years and was a co-owner of Lasting Images Photography for the past 24 years. For the past eight years, she worked as a school bus driver for the town of Oxford.

She loved cooking, and was a member of Methodist Church of Oxford. She volunteered for MA Symphony for eigh years, as well.

She was an active member of the Order of Eastern Star and Past Matron of Mt. Carmel Chapter No. 230, North Reading 1976-77, and Clara Barton Chapter No. 63 2003-4 2008- 2009, 2009-2010, in Oxford, where she affiliated from Packachaug Chapter in 2002. She was also a very active member in Rachel Chapter No. 61, North Grafton, filling in as a protem officer where she was an Honorary Member.

Mrs. Tripp was a member of Eastern Star for 38 years and received her 25-year pin from Mt. Carmel. In adiition, she was an active member of Rainbow, served in many stations and also a Worthy Advisor of Sommerville Assembly No 17. She was a Majority Rainbow Girl and also received the Grand Cross of Colors. She served as Mother Advisor of Whitinsville Assembly and later on the Advisory Boards of Whitinsville, Oxford and was currently on the Framingham Board in Grafton. She was a Deputy Grand Marton in the Mariner year with Joanne Anderson and Loren Sandler, and currently was appointed Grand Representative of the State of Arkansas from Diane Hunt and Michael Podymaitis on September 2010.

Calling hours will be held Friday, Oct. 7, from 5 to 8 p.m., in Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main St., Northborough. The funeral service will be held Saturday, Oct. 8, at 1:30 p.m., in First Methodist Church, 120 West Main St., Westborough.
