Mary A. Milano, 52Grafton – Mary A. Milano, 52, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2011 following an illness.

She is survived by her daughter, Rachael Rouleau, her fiancé James Dyson and their daughter, Chloe Dyson; her sister, Patricia Thayer and her husband, Michael; her brothers, James Milano and wife Mary, Michael Milano, Gerald Milano and wife Susan, Joseph Milano, and Nicholas Milano and wife Linda; her former husband, Michael Rouleau; her beloved cousin, Sharon Fonceault; and many nieces and nephews.

Born July 29, 1959 in Worcester, she grew up in Northborough and attended Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School in Marlborough and worked for several years as a graphic artist. She lived in Sterling for many years before moving to Grafton four years ago, where she lived close to her beloved daughter, Rachael, and granddaughter Chloe.

She was a Girl Scout Leader for her daughter's scout troop, had a great love of cats, especially “Spunky,” and adored angels.

She was a devoted parishioner at both St. Richard's Church in Sterling and St. Philip's Church in Grafton. Her strong faith sustained her through her lengthy struggle with lupus.

All are invited to calling hours Saturday, Oct. 8, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., at Roney Funeral Home, 152 Worcester St., North Grafton, followed by the celebration of her funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Philip's Church, 12 West St., Grafton. Burial will be private and at the convenience of her family.

Her family requests that, in lieu of flowers, her memory be honored with contributions to the Lupus Foundation of America, 2000 L Street N.W., Suite 410, Washington, D.C. 20036 (www.Lupus.org).
