Shrewsbury –Shrewsbury Parks & Recreation will be offering a “NYC on Your Own” trip Sunday, Oct. 22. This is a perfect time of the year to get started on holiday shopping or to go sight seeing, and participants will be dropped off at Rockefeller Plaza to enjoy a day in New York City before meeting behind St. Patrick's Cathedral (location subject to change) to head back home. There will be a coffee stop on the way there and back.
The trip will cost $50 per person and includes motor coach transportation, map and gratuity. The bus will leave Shrewsbury Town Hall promptly at 6 a.m. and depart from New York City at 7 p.m. Each participant must register in advance to secure a spot on the trip. Youth under 18 are welcome, but must pay and be accompanied by an adult.
