Northborough – An American Red Cross blood drive will be held Thursday, Oct. 27, from 2 to 8 p.m., at the Church of the Nativity, 45 Howard St., Northborough. The blood drive is being sponsored by Premier Home Health Care of Massachusetts and the Northborough Rotary Club.
The public and residents from all surrounding towns are invited to participate. Donors can register to win a $100 gift certificate to Romaine's Wood Grille and Bar. Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are also welcome.
If you are in good health, weigh 110 pounds or more, and have not given blood in the past 56 days, you may try to donate. The American Red Cross now requires positive ID before donating and donors must be at least 17 years of age (16-year-olds can donate with a signed parental consent form).
