Special Education Parents Advisory Council (NSPAC) is hosting a Nov. 8 presentation for families and caregivers to provide them with information on how to access services and how to develop appropriate plans for their special needs child.
“Planning for a Lifetime of Care for your Child with Special Needs” will be presented by Attorney Theresa M. Varnet from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Algonquin Regional High School, Room B124, 79 Bartlett St., Northborough. At this presentation, Varnet will explain eligibility requirements for government benefits (SSI, SSDI, Medicaid, and Medicare), guardianship options, how work affects SSI and SSDI long-term housing supports.
