Worcester – Senator Harriette L. Chandler (D-Worcester) has announced that there will be a Halloween Costumed Certified Annual 5K Walk/Run, hosted by the Art beCAUSE Breast Cancer Foundation, Sunday, Oct. 30, at the Institute Park Band Stand in Worcester.
Registration will begin at 11 a.m. and the race starts at 12 p.m. The entry fee is $35 for everyone, but free for children under the age of 10. Kids are welcome for games, food, and prizes will be awarded for the best costume and first place finisher in two divisions: Adult (18+ years old) and Youth (under 18 years old). The event will have live music, live broadcast, food, and complimentary post-race massages.
“This is a great event that will highlight breast cancer awareness month and fund-raise for a unique organization,” Chandler said. “I am excited to see such wonderful events happening in my district.”
