Sudbury – Saturday, Oct. 29, from 1 to 5 p.m., Sudbury Valley Trustees is hosting its first-ever Halloween event, “Pumpkin Patch” at Wolbach Farm. A free family-friendly Halloween party, all guests are encouraged to wear their Halloween costume. Bring the family for a plethora of activities and games.
Pumpkin Patch will feature live music by the Whiskey Boys, games for kids, craft activities, a complimentary photo for those who wear their costumes, seasonal food and beverages, trick or treat goodies, letter boxing, invasion of the BiODiversitY Snatchers, and more.
Everyone is invited to come explore Wolbach Farm and all the treasures within, including the family-friendly Nature Nook, which is open to the public year-round. While there, you can get information about other year-round SVT trails in the area for you and your family to enjoy at your leisure. SVT staff and volunteers will be available to assist throughout the day and provide information on what SVT is working on for the benefit of your community.
If you would like to volunteer at Pumpkin Patch, contact Michael Sanders at firstname.lastname@example.org. This is an especially good opportunity for students looking for community service projects. Sanders may also be contacted by those interested in sponsoring or making a gift in-kind donation to this event.
Wolbach Farm is located at 18 Wolbach Rd., Sudbury. For more information on Sudbury Valley trustees, visit www.svtweb.org or call 1-978-443-5588.
