Northborough resident named co-chair of Reexamination GroupNorthborough – Ed Walsh, a resident of Northborough, has been named co-chair of the recently formed Reexamination Group at Wolf, Greenfield and Sacks, P.C., the largest Intellectual Property law firm in New England. Reexamination is important to the business community in Massachusetts, particularly the high-tech industry.

“Given the complexities and rigid deadlines of reexaminations, and in light of the new patent reform laws, we felt the time was right to harness our deep knowledge to help our clients navigate successfully through the patent reexamination process,” said Walsh.

Walsh works with electrical and computer-related clients in IP strategy development and execution, including patent prosecution, clearances and counseling, IP portfolio management, litigation, licensing, consulting agreements, and joint development agreements. His areas of technical expertise include semiconductor processing and high-speed circuit design, wireless communication and signal processing, software, networks and network management, connectors and interconnection technology, and many types of test equipment.
