Westborough – Addie Egan gives her mother, Anne, a pink carnation as breast cancer survivors are recognized at a ceremony prior to the third annual “Dig Pink” volleyball game, held Oct. 11 at the Westborough High School (WHS) gym.
In observance of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a volleyball match between WHS and Algonquin Regional High School served as a fund-raiser. All proceeds will go to the Side-Out Foundation, a support and advocacy organization uniting volleyball teams nationwide to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research.
