Hudson – Edna F. (French) Morgan, 93, died Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011 at Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Northborough. She was the beloved wife of the late Leslie Morgan, who died in 1959.

Born in Greenfield, N.H., the daughter of the late Charles and Mabel (Denno) French, she was raised in Maynard where she attended local schools. She was a devoted nurse for several facilities locally for many years until her retirement.

She was the mother of the late Raymond Morgan and is survived her grandson, Raymond Morgan of Shrewsbury. She is also survived by her brother, George French of Naples, Fla.; two great-nieces, Tara Lambert of Bonita Springs, Fla. and Marty Lintz of New York, N.Y.; her great-nephew, Michael Horan of Leominster, and many other nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Charles French, Belle Pennimen and Irene McGee.

Calling hours will be held Friday, Oct. 28, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc., 50 Central St., Hudson. Graveside services and burial at Greenvale Cemetery in Greenfield, N.H. will be held at the convenience of the family.
