Sudbury – The Coffee House on the Rocky Plain at First Parish of Sudbury will be kicking off its third season Saturday, Nov. 12. Join in for some new acts and the return of Ergo Canto, who is back by popular demand to get the evening and season started. Coffee House on the Rocky Plain will also be collecting coats for WUMB and UMass Boston's Gold Key society's “Share the Warmth” and there will be discounted admission for anyone bringing in coats.

Opening the evening's entertainment is Ergo Canto (therefore we sing). Paul Beck and Leslie Bryant perform a wide variety of original songs, covers, and traditional folk material. In addition to vocals, you may hear six and twelve string guitars, fiddle, flute, mandolin, and harmonica. Other entertainment for the evening includes Randall Kromm, performing beautifully crafted songs of ordinary life that capture experiences and feelings we all share, and the Solomon Band, a vocal-oriented, primarily acoustic band.

Tickets and refreshments will be available at 7 p.m. General admission is $12. Student admission (with valid high school or college ID) is $8. Refreshments on sale include homemade cakes and cookies, snacks, coffee, soda. The Meetinghouse is located at 327 Concord Rd., across from the Town Hall in Sudbury, and is wheelchair accessible.
